Shunbun

Trinity is closed on March 22nd for our national holiday "Shunbun",
Vernal Equinox Day.

It is the day when the sun reaches the vernal equinox, and it is the day when day and night are of equal length.

It snowed in Tokyo last week, and we are having very unstable weather recently. However, I can now see, feel, and smell signs of spring everywhere.

AND, I can taste the spring already :)

A Symbol of Spring

Yulan Magnolia is my most favorite flower (tree) .

I did not notice they were there on the street that begins at the station to our office until very recently.
I like the volume of the flower petals. They ere so elegant and beautiful.
The shape and the color of clean white remind me of a wedding gown.

It tells you that spring is almost there!

Snow in March

It seems like winter is back again.
It was snowing last night in and around Tokyo.
It was not heavy at all, but was still snow.
The weather in March here in Japan is not very stable.
As a matter of fact, it was pretty warm last week, and I felt like whole myself was being energized by the warmness.
It is such a special feeling to notice the spring breeze.
